Polyurethane
Polyurethane foam is a flexible open cell product
that comes in a variety of densities (cubic weight /
pcf), ILD (firmness) and colors. Polyurethane comes
in large blocks (buns) that can be cut, convoluted or
die cut to protect your product. Traditionally used
for lightweight units that are shock sensitive,
polyurethane has many applications.

Polyurethane is 100% recyclable. All scrap is compressed into large bails and
returned to the manufacturer. No foam ends up in a landfill. All the different colors
and densities of foam are ground up and used to produce rebond foam. Rebond is
most commonly used for carpet padding but can also be used in packaging.
Antistatic foam is non static generating material used for
static electricity sensity products.
Convoluted foam is a flexable foam that passes through a
machine which distorts and cuts in a way that leaves
interlocking high and low points. This is commonly used
for items such as circuit boards which can have an uneven
surface and need something to conform to it.
Conductive foam accepts static electricity but dissipates the
charge throughout the foam thus reducing it to a harmless
level
